[TKI Webinar] Comparison of NEC4 and FIDIC Standard Forms: Key Differences and Practical Case Studies
Comparison of NEC4 and FIDIC Standard Forms: Key Differences and Practical Case Studies
In recent years, construction projects have become increasingly complex, creating a need for contractual mechanisms that go beyond addressing problems after they arise and instead enable Clients and Contractors to identify and share risks at an early stage and work collaboratively towards successful project delivery. NEC4, which is widely used particularly in the UK, embodies this approach within its contractual framework.
This seminar will explain the distinctive features of NEC4 from a practical perspective, including Early Warning, the Programme and Compensation Events, while also highlighting key differences from more traditional forms of contract such as FIDIC. The seminar will be useful not only for those new to NEC4, but also for professionals seeking a more practical understanding of contract, programme and risk management on international projects.
*Hybrid format: join us in person or online via Zoom, with a Japanese summary and Zoom's automated live subtitles also available. Please note that in-person attendance is limited to 25 participants, on a first-come, first-served basis.
