Tokyo International Law Office (TKI) is acting as lead counsel for the Foxconn group on its strategic alliance with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation for the joint operation of Mitsubishi Electric’s automotive equipment business, through the acquisition of a 50% stake in Mitsubishi Electric Mobility. The transaction values the target business at an enterprise value of JPY 320.0 billion (approx. US$ 2.02 billion) and an equity value of JPY 230.0 billion (approx. US$ 1.45 billion).
