[TKI Webinar] May 29, 2025 “Power Projects: Contracts, Legal Risk and Recent Trends”

[TKI Webinar]
Power Projects
Contracts, Legal Risk and Recent Trends

We are pleased to announce that Tokyo International Law Office will be hosting a webinar “Power Projects: Contracts, Legal Risk and Recent Trends”.

Developing or investing in power projects, whether conventional or renewable, requires careful legal scrutiny and a clear understanding of the contractual structure to ensure project success.

In this webinar, we will examine the key contractual elements that align incentives among stakeholders, including developers, investors, constructors, operators, financiers and local authorities. We will outline the key features of each contract and assess how risk is structured and allocated across the project lifecycle. We will also highlight recent trends in the power sector and briefly address issues which may arise when investing into a power project, whether under development or one which is already operating.

※While two of the speakers will be presenting in English, Japanese translation/interpretation will be provided as needed throughout the webinar.
※This webinar will be held via Zoom webinar, so please feel free to join from your home or office.
