Jean-Denis Marx is a partner at TKI. Before joining the firm, he spent 30 years at Baker & McKenzie's Tokyo office, first as an associate and later as a partner, advising predominantly foreign corporations and investors on their business operations in Japan. Prior to his tenure at Baker & McKenzie, he worked as an associate at Coudert Frères in their Paris office, where he advised Japanese corporations on French and EU law matters.
Jean-Denis is also a director of LLAN (Lawyers for LGBT & Allies Network), a Japanese non-profit organization promoting marriage equality in Japan.
