Makiko Kawamura is a partner at TKI. Prior to joining the firm, Makiko was a partner of International Transaction Tax Services at one of the Big 4 accounting firms where she provided tax planning and tax advisory services. She was also a regional head of tax practice at a prominent global law firm and represented large multinational corporations, foreign governments and private equity funds for many years.
